Everybody answers the same question twice — once for themselves, once guessing what their partner will say. Nobody sees anybody else's answer until everyone is in. Then you find out who was actually listening all these years.
Nobody has to be in the room
A question opens up the moment everybody has answered it — at the table, or hours apart. Nothing is said out loud, so nothing is given away.
You decide if it counts
When somebody guesses at your answer, you're the one who says whether they got it. Nobody has to argue with a computer about whether pizza and pepperoni pizza are the same thing.
Couples or friends
Two of you or eight, in pairs. A pair can be married or just be best friends, and the questions follow. Two people can play head to head, or on the same side against nobody.
Make it about you
Tell it where you live, where each of you grew up and where you met, and questions about your own life get dealt in beside the usual ones. Skip it and you still get a full game.
